Karla L. Hampton has a diverse background and a passion for healthcare, which bring a unique perspective to her role. Originally from the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Karla has always been drawn to the intersection of science and care. Her journey into healthcare began when she assisted with providing care for her terminally ill brother until he ultimately passed away. She then later became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she developed a deep appreciation for patient-centered care and the importance of compassion in nursing. Driven by a desire to expand her knowledge and skills set, she pursued further education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN). Her experience as an LPN solidified her commitment to nursing and inspired her to continue her education to become a Registered Nurse (RN). Today, as the Director of Nursing, Karla is dedicated to leading a team of compassionate healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Karla has been with RollingBrook since November 2023.
